JOB DESCRIPTION
The Garth Charity Projects is hiring a part-time, 30 hours/week Community Outreach Coordinator. If you have a friendly, outgoing, and energetic personality, then this may be the job for you! A Bachelor’s degree is required (professional experience may be substituted) and volunteer management experience is a plus.
Previous work experience with volunteers, clinic and have an understanding of volunteer recruitment, training and recognition is needed. Also, must have the ability to plan, develop and coordinate community events and be a public representative for the GarthCharityProjects.org, Community healthcare redevelopment. You should have an interest in Humane Society. Additional duties may include fundraising and marketing tasks. A qualified applicant must be computer literate and have the ability to manage a database with strong people and organizational skills.
This position does require some evening and weekend hours for special events. EEOC
